AMERICA’S FISHING TOURNAMENT

AFT FORMAT

  • Fish any public body of water you want in a state or region.
    * Fish your home water or travel to your best/favorite. It’s up to you.
  • Compete against all the other anglers/teams in that state/region doing the same thing, at the same time.
  • Fish in one tournament or as many as you like. No minimum required amounts.
  • Fish AFT tournaments in other states or regions on different weekends.
  • Compete in your other local tournaments while fishing in AFT tournaments.
  • Designed as team tournaments with 2 anglers per team and no more than 1 team per boat.
  • No ease outs, flights or boat inspections
  • All teams launch, get to their first spot and start fishing at the same time as all other teams in their state(s).
  • Fish until the tournament ends, no driving back for weigh-in.
  • Teams can register up to 10 fish maximum, that meet the minimun size, per species, per tournament.
  • All fish will be registered through the AFT app using the simple, easy fish registration procedures for that tournament.
  • If a team catches more than the 10 fish limit, when they enter the next fish information,the app will automatically cull their smallest fish and update their total and standings.
  • Lengths are converted to pounds through the app using the national average
